Publishing Activities

Department is represented mainly by books, which are used as nationwide textbooks of statistics on most universities with study fields focused on economic and social sciences. For all statistical courses of the department the textbooks are available, for most important of them even own monographs and books including collections of examples. Older textbooks are continuously updated and every year new titles are published.

Members of the Department publish scientific articles in international and domestic journals and international conferences proceedings. Domestic journals are especially represented by Statistika, Politická ekonomie, Prague Economics Papers, Acta Oeconomica Pragensia , Informační Bulletin of Czech Statisticial Society and Pojistný obzor, other periodicals are represented i.e. by weekly Ekonom.
